Almost half of workers would quit or cut hours over poor healthcare
HR Magazine reported new research from employee benefits provider Fertifa, which found that 45% of UK workers would quit or reduce their hours because of inadequate wellbeing support and workplace healthcare.
Brook Allston, head of client delivery at HBHR, spoke to HR Magazine about what that means for retention: “People stay where they feel looked after. Employers who treat healthcare and wellbeing as part of the everyday employee experience, not an optional extra, give people a reason to stay.”
The article also includes views from the Health and Care Professions Council, Benenden Health and Bluecrest Wellness on how employers can design healthcare support that people actually use.
